 When Q4 hits, here's what most people check on their phone...

(In case you can’t see, I’m talking about banking apps)

They…

1. Open their banking app
2. Feel frustrated by what they see
3. Start doling out “no’s”

 

As in,

 

No vacation

No big pile of gifts under the tree

No moving to a safer neighborhood

No going after an opportunity that would be amazing but “isn’t the right time”

 

And while it’s critical to live within your means, the answer is more simple:

 

You can’t save your way to wealth

You have to earn more!

 

So, here’s my tip today:

 

Don’t wait until the new year to ask yourself, “What do I want in 2023?”

 

Decide now - literally write down a number you want to see in your bank account - then make a step-by-step plan to get there.
